Boston, MA 10/08/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Aviation training and simulation software and services provider CAE, Inc. (USA) (NYSE:CAE) announced on 7th October that it is entering into a joint venture agreement with Japanese airline giant JAPAN AIRLINES CP (OTCMKTS: JALFQ). The tie up will formalize an arrangement which will see the flight crew of the Regional airline being trading on the simulation set up provided by CAE, Inc. (USA) (NYSE:CAE). The agreement is set to be signed on March 31, 2015 between the two firms. The trainings are set to commence in April 2015. Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAS) announced yesterday that it has entered into a licensing agreement with PEZ International. The tie up will involve co-development of a new line of children dispensers called “MY LITTLE PONY”. The joint development efforts will also include “PEZ dextrose fizzy candy, and fizzy rolls” the company statement released yesterday noted. The newly developed products would be available commercially in the first quarter of next year. The products are likely to hit the markets of Germany, France and Austria first. The products would be released in the other geographies later, the two companies have indicated.

Clinical systems and healthcare solutions provider Merge Healthcare Incorporated (NASDAQ:MRGE), announced that it is launching a new electronic referral system and a corresponding online order management system. These additions would help augment its flag ship iConnect® Network. The upgraded software applications help in achieving interoperability between existing healthcare records with third party maintained health information exchanges.  The interoperability functionality is expected to help customers reduce costs of record maintenance.
