Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ:SNPS) Launches Verification IP For M-PCIe

Boston, MA 10/08/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ:SNPS) has launched the verification IP for Mobile PCIe Technology. It will have a built in M-PHY® as per the MIPI® Alliance specification. It is based on the native SystemVerilog VIP architecture. The technology is a convenient tool that will enhance the performance, convenience and debug process in SystemVerilog UVM environments. The verification IP for PCI express architecture will support M-PCIe technology, verification plan and will have built-in coverage. The project teams can speed up the development process of M-PCIe-based SoCs. And target critical market windows.

The details

Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ:SNPS) has integrated the verification IP with its Verdi® Protocol Analyzer. It is a protocol-aware environment responsible for speed debugging. It is integrated by using simplified views of protocol traffic. The integration will result in low power and mobile PCI express design. The integration teams will have a comprehensive SystemVerilog UVM solution to speed up verification and coverage closure. Synopsys is an active PCI-SIG member and has significantly contributed in the development of PCIe technology. The verification IP support will also lead to an early adoption of the PCI Express ecosystem.

The new release

The new protocol versions are there in the market to fulfill the needs of different market segments. It results in a lengthy and complex ramp-up process for design teams. The problem is the team has to verify compliance of all the versions against the new specification. Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ:SNPS) delivers verification IP for all new protocol versions. The clients can timely complete their SoC verification closure and accelerate time-to-market.
