Boston, MA 10/08/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Advanced Atomization Technologies, announced on 7th October that it will be expanding its facility which is currently located in Clyde, New York. The firm is a joint venture vehicle between Parker-Hannifin Corporation (NYSE:PH) owned Parker Aerospace and GE Aviation which is an aviation business unit of General Electric Company (NYSE:GE). The expansion would be covering both the manufacturing facility and the corporate office. The upgraded facilities would be able to accommodate the new employees that the firm will be hiring to meet the growing needs for its “new engine programs.” The JV company employees nearly 350 skilled members and has plans to employee an additional 80 to 100 new members to its work force.

Sports equipment and apparel maker, Performance Sports Group Ltd. (NYSE:PSG) announced earlier this week that it has launched a new set of high performance enabling sports products at its recently concluded annual global meet branded as “MOMENTUM”. The global meet formed the backdrop in which the company introduced its next-generation products to its customers and partners. The new products include sports equipment and cutting edge technology derived apparel developed by its Research & Development team. Performance Sports Group Ltd. (NYSE:PSG) President and CEO Kevin Davis indicated that the product launch was done in front of nearly 700 of their retail partners. Previously, the event was known as BauerWorld.

Elbit Systems Ltd (NASDAQ:ESLT) announced on 7th October that its wholly owned subsidiary Elbit Systems of America, LLC has won a major contract from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology Directorate. The contract involves the tech firm to develop and demonstrate a new “broad band service” which will be sued by agencies which respond to civilian and natural disasters. The contract involves the integration and demonstration of WideBridge™ with the secure messaging network developed by BlackBerry® BES10 and used by the armed services.
