Boston, MA 10/14/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE:DLB) continued to offer digital production services for the third time with its franchise – Video Game High School (VGHS). Freddie Wong and Matt Arnold created the franchise in collaboration with Rocket Jump Studios and Collective Digital Studio.
In last two seasons, VGHS supported by large group of fans and gathered more than 84 million views for the video services. The improvement in the previous two seasons was due to the strong contribution of the crowd funding campaigns like Kickstarter and IndieGoGo.
In the third season, Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE:DLB) enhanced the sound design and mixing services to improve the experiences over films and television series. The company plans to offer other electronic sells through platform including RocketJump’s YouTube channel in the third and final season.
Digital productions – Transform the visual quality
The growing demand enforces creators to add sophisticated instruments such as cameras, lighting and visual effects to deliver high-quality motion pictures. Therefore, Dolby initiated the collaborative effort to design digital productions with high-quality sounds and visuals.
Dolby Institute’s Director, Glenn Kiser said that audiences are now looking for digital contents through mobile phones, smart TVs and video games. So, it becomes necessary for the creators to design the digital contents to support multiple devices and meet the expectations of the audiences without compromising the quality.
At the same time, Freddie Wong, Creator of VGHS, said that the franchise will offer a strong sound dynamics of Dolby in the final episodes of VGHS. The third season, which returns on October 13, 2014 onwards, will feature a series of cameos including Conan O’Brien.
Besides VGHS, Dolby already integrated with popular digital filmmakers like Michael Gallagher and Corridor Digital for multichannel audios. In addition, Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE:DLB)’s Made-for-Web Audio Program will identify high-profile projects from premium content creators through 2015. The program will continue to remain a platform to educate and inspire the creative content creators to use picture and sound as their storytelling tools.
