Boston, MA 02/06/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Arguably one of the brightest pieces of invention if it ever come to pass is the new Renault concept that should throw into the air the much publicized real use of drones in the new era of advanced technologies. Drones have become the talk of town in the recent past due to their ability to maneuver the airspace with easiness without being stuck in traffic like cars. Drones in the past were mostly thought to be devices for spying and for war fare but not in the modern world. Renault is not the only one to toy with concept car earlier Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) had also showcased its All-New Ford F-150 which was appreciated by many.
There has been talk that drones could be perfect partners in the delivery of goods from one point to another as they can travel through space easily, avoiding any substantial delays as is the normal occurrence with traditional methods of delivery. Renault proposed move is the other one that should be talked about for quite sometime
Renault drone
Renault found new use of drone includes a concept that will be closely followed by a “flying companion” in the form of a quadrocopter. Basic operation involves the drone launching from the roof of a car. Something interesting is that, the drone will be controlled by a tablet or be set to fly autonomously depending on where one wishes to go.
This is an interesting piece of use of the drones as drivers will essentially get a clear-look of the road ahead even before reaching the point they wish go. Drivers whenever stuck in traffic could launch the drone to try and asses the gridlock. If the dream becomes a reality, the drones will be fitted in a special kind of car called kwid that will be fitted with all the things you would expect of the new technology.
The car itself is thought to be designed of bold colors with strong angles and bizarre materials. Hyper unrealistic interior designs are sure to take the new design to new levels of advanced technology. The drone itself is thought to be a gimmick to trying to capture the minds of the younger generation
According to sources the new use of drones is thought to be in advanced stages of production and could be released into the market as early as in the next two years. The concept is also thought to be powered by a 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engine and was revealed at the India Delhi motor show.
