They have entered into a strategic agreement for installing integrated dispenser video screens at major locations. Sunoco will acquire dispenser card readers from VeriFone, which will feature dynamic streaming content and integrated video screens. It will enhance the fueling experience of Sunoco’s customers.

Sunoco, Inc. (NYSE:SUN) was looking for a cost-efficient EMV strategy for its increasing network of branded retailers. The new agreement will fulfill the objective as it has now an EMY-ready and PCI-compliant payment platform for better fueling customers’ experience. The PumpPAY system of VeriFone is a secure system which offers numerous advertiser-funded coupons, offers and content through VeriFone’s VNET. The card readers enable faster card processing saving on time and costs. The technology integrates will with the CurrentC mobile payments platform of Sunoco.
