Boston, MA 10/10/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Oil and gas technology and services support provider MagneGas Corporation (NASDAQ:MNGA) announced on 9th October that its Australia headquartered partner, FuturEnergy Pty Ltd has submitted a “pioneer patent” to Australian patent office. The patent being sought is for the process of eliminating “combusting coal emissions containing CO2” when it is processed in a secondary “post combustion chamber” fuelled by MagneGas®. The patent application has been filed under the subject line of “Utilising synergistic mixture of fuel to produce energy and reduce emissions in boilers”. The “pioneer patent” application attempts to further strengthen its case over and above its claims made in its “provisional patent” application. In order to execute this project, the two firms had created a Joint Venture Vehicle.
Financial services major Synchrony Financial (NYSE:SYF), announced on 9th October that it has signed a multi-year agreement with family-owned jewellery chain REEDS Jewelers, Inc. The two firms have tied up to offer to its loyal customers a “private label credit card”. The card would help customers pay for their purchase across the 59 retail stores run by REEDS Jewelers, Inc. in more than 13 states of U.S. The yet to be introduced credit cards would be branded as REEDS Jewelers Card. It is expected to be issued to customers on 1st March 2015. The card would entitle customers to a assured line of credit in addition to spectrum of “special financing options.”
Salem Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:SALM) announced on 9th October that its senior executive, Mr. Greg Anderson currently serving as President of the group’s Salem Radio Network has decided to retire. The retirement date is likely to be December 31, 2014. Announcing the retirement plans of the company veteran, Salem Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:SALM) Chief Executive Officer Edward Atsinger has commented that the departing leader has surpassed all expectations and went on to call him as “one of the finest radio professionals I have ever worked with.”
