Modulus, a registered trademark of Progress, is a leading provider of MongoDB and Node.js hosting. Its native iOS app aims to integrate the Modulus™ platform with Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s devices. The new app seeks to enable developers to monitor and manage apps featured on the Modulus™ platform via Apple’s devices.

Native iOS Mobile App

The Modulus app claims that it will allow customers to leverage projects and databases from cellular phones. Additionally, the app will allow users to check performance parameters, including slow queries, requests, CPU usage and memory from handheld devices.

The app will let users stream real-time logs from all the apps and, at the same time, will receive updates via real-time push notifications. Apart from this, users will have the freedom to reply to an unexpected surge in site traffic by leveling their apps immediately though the iOS application. Some of the new features of the new app include provision for servo management, as well as management of multiple accounts. Another key feature added offers advanced project management capability, which allows functionalities such as scaling, restarting, starting and stopping.
