Boston, MA 10/08/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Insurance industry specific software solutions provider Sapiens International Corporation (NASDAQ: SPNS) announced in Israel on 7th October that a leading U.S. financial firm has decided to implement its flagship solution package called “Sapiens DECISION”. The software package is expected to be used by the financial major, as a central source of truth from which the management team would be deriving key data to frame the business logic and operational rules for the company. On full implementation, the customer firm would be able to cut down its overall cost of ownership of the software package. Further, the management team would be able to have at their finger tip a 360 degree view of their entire enterprise.
PepsiCo, Inc. (NYSE:PEP) announced on 7th October that it has appointed Mr. Tony West as a executive vice president in the company. He has been taken on board to handle “government affairs.” He will also hold the post of general counsel and would also serve as the corporate secretary of the firm. The appointments are expected to take effect on November 24, 2014, on the same day on which Mr. Larry Thompson, the current incumbent of these roles is slated to retire. Mr. West prior to his employment with the beverage major had been working for the United States Department of Justice.
ARRIS Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARRS) announced on 7th October that it has launched a new bouquet of broadband gateways products. These new introductions include the NVG340 and NVG370 series devices. They are designed to enhance the quality of voice, data and video content which gets streamed through the digital devices. The tech firm has disclosed that these new products would be available for demonstration and for testing, at their booth at the Broadband World Forum which would be held during October 21-23 in Amsterdam.
