Boston, MA, 11/18/2013 (wallstreetpr) – Tatts Group Limited (ASX:TTS), a gambling service provider in UK and Australia is all set to implement a SAS multi-channel marketing operation, a management system, by the start of 2014. This system will allow it to send targeted emails and help increase customer base.
The CEO and the managing director of the Tatts Group, Robbie Cooke, said that during the last one year, almost half of the Australia’s adult population has purchased one of the company’s products. However, he finds timely and effective marketing as a challenge to further boost its customer engagement.
Cooke added that with the new system in place, the company will be able to find out more about the customer’s preferences on the lotteries’ front which will help them to communicate with them effectively. While on the gambling side, the system will provide the company about the details and information updates of the particular consumer’s choice.
Prior to this new system, the staff member of the company had to manually pull out the information from the database, which will now be more effectively streamlined and time-oriented. At the same time,while the company is currently involved in sending marketing emails, it has future plans to extend the promotions through SMS service by the early next year.
The company seems to be pursuing new avenues of growing its customers as it intends to expand through multiple channels and to have more foot hold on the technological forefront than before. The company is also raising its staff members in Brisbane to six by the beginning of 2014. These expansions are being undertaken for its Customer Relationship Management headcount. Currently, the company’s online business is as low as 8% while its gambling online sales are around 20%.
The shares of the Brisbane based company fell marginally by 2 cents (-0.63%) to close at $3.15 during the last trading session.
