Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPLS): Launches A New Program

Boston, MA 05/05/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Recently, Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPLS) reported that it would be distributing a quarterly cash dividend to the common stockholders this year. Staples has launched a new support plan for small businesses and consumers, which would allow them to enjoy services like installations, maintenance and upgrades for their new, as well as old, PCs. This is an improvement of an earlier program, which was launched by the company in the year 2007. We hope that this program achieves what it aims to achieve and successfully proves to be popular amongst PC users all around the globe.

Staples has reported that it would be posting the financial results for the Q1 of this year on May 20, 2014. The company would also be conducting a conference call to discuss the results with the concerned media persons and all other interested parties such as the investors and analysts.

Distributed dividends

As announced by Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPLS), the Board of Directors of Staples had decided to distribute quarterly dividends this year. The dividend for the first quarter of $0.17 became payable to the common stock shareholders on April 17, 2014. It was paid to the shareholders on record on March 28, 2014.

Staples EasyTech Total Support

This new program launched by Staples provides one and two year plans for consumers that include internet security, in store software installation, in-store diagnostics, SquareTrade Accident Protection Plans and other virus removal services. This program aims at helping users get more value from their devices.

(NASDAQ:SPLS), namely, Conor Kearney, said that the Staples EasyTech Total Support would help users in maximizing the productivity of their devices through a number of services that are comprehensive in nature. These services would aim at keeping the users’ technology updated and running well. This program would also ensure that their systems are always protected from external threats like virus.
