National Storage Affiliates Trust (NYSE:NSA) Announces Pricing of IPO

The improved market conditions have prompted the National Storage Affiliates Trust (NYSE:NSA) to come up with Initial Public Offering. As per the reports, the company has announced the pricing of IPO of 20 million common shares of beneficial interest of National Storage Affiliates Trust. These common shares will be made available to public at a price of $13 per share.

In order to make sure that everything happens as per plans, it has also granted a 30-day option to all the underwriters that will allow them to purchase up to 3 million additional common shares. All the common shares will trade on NYSE under the ticker ‘NSA.’ The total gross proceeds of National Storage Affiliates are $260 million. The management of the company expects it to touch new heights and perform well in the market in the coming days.

When it comes to Initial Public Offering, National Storage Affiliates expects to close this offering on April 28, 2015, provided everything in terms of customary closing conditions goes fine. On a question of using the proceeds of this IPO, National Storage Affiliates states that it will look forward to using the proceeds to acquire properties. It revealed that it would acquire 21 additional self-storage properties, execute general working capital and corporate activities and repay indebtedness with the help of the proceeds of the IPO.

With an objective to execute the IPO without any hassle, it has decided to appoint Jefferies, Wells Fargo Securities and Morgan Stanley as the joint book-running managers. Apart from them, National Storage Affiliates has taken services of Baird, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, RBC Capital Markets and Capital One Securities as IPO’s co-managers.
