Boston, MA 10/08/2014 (wallstreetpr) – M/A-COM Technology Solutions Holdings (NASDAQ:MTSI) has launched a 4 stage E-Band driver amplifier for the designers. They can get higher control on the FullE-Band spectrum and can achieve high linear power with a new amplifier. It has worked on MAAP-011106 amplifier model released in March 2014. The new device delivers Psat of 24 dBm for the 81-86 GHz and 71-76 GHz frequency ranges. It is an ideal device for small cell and high capacity macro cell backhaul point-to-point radios.
The features
The new MAAM-011167 device can be used in small cell and macro cell backhaul point-to-point radios. It has an integrated power detector that helps the customers to save on extra costs. Also, customer can minimize the loss associated with a detached power detector. The device supports 18 dB of small signal gain. It has got variable gain control feature for flexible performance tuning. It can be used as a driver amplifier as well as final stage power amplifier. It depends upon the users’ application and power output. The devices are RF tested and fabricated using pHEMT process.
