Boston, MA 10/10/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) announced that its new Falcon® RF-330E-TR Wideband Team Radio fulfils the demands of the Rifleman Radio Program.

As highlighted in a Business wire article, independent trials conducted reveal that the Falcon RF-330E-TR not only meets but also, in some instances, surpasses the needs for the Rifleman Radio Program. The requirements for fulfilling the demands follow the Program’s Production Requirement Documents.

Collaborative Work

Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) new radio was test proofed by the Network Battle Lab for Experimentation (NBL). The tests were conducted at the Cyber Center of Excellence and catered to the Commercial Testing Agreement, which the two companies had agreed upon. Soldiers belonging to the 15th Regimental Signal Brigade and some other personnel that were allocated to the NBL carried out all the tests.

In this context, Harris RF Communications’ President of the Department of Defense unit, George Helm, said that the results establish the radio’s superior performance. In addition, they also validate its excellence in cold initiated network formation and user-friendliness for awareness in mission planning, as well as in-mission conditions. He also acknowledged the benefits that the company experienced on partnering with NBL. He explained that the joint venture helped the company gain an independent and real-user view on the products.
