Boston, MA 10/10/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Mac Developers can enjoy the latest version of the Golden Master after Cupertino-based Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) officially seeded what is believed to be the third OS X Yosemite candidate. The update has already been made available to developers using the second GM candidate through the software Update Utility.

The new update comes two days after Apple released the second candidate of Golden Master as well as the fifth public beta. Developers can download the latest version from Mac App Store or through Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s Mac Developer Center. OS X Yosemite comes with a flattering and modern look compared to OS X. Apple paid greater emphasis on translucency as well as windows and redesigned dock with the new update.
OS X Yosemite is the eleventh update for Yosemite having introduced the first version in June. The update is expected to offer a new UI design as well as other improvements on Macs. OS X Yosemite incorporates a modern interface that in the design has been inspired by iOS 7 with a number of improvements that include support for continuity as well as iCloud Drive.
Added Features
OS X Yosemite comes with a number of improved features with an improved integration with iOS 8 through continuity. The upgrade features a new Notification Center that enhances integration with Third party apps. A retooled Spotlight search embedded with new data sources will be on offer, complimented with new features for apps such as Safari, Mail and Messages. Reports indicate that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is finalizing on the code for Yosemite before it makes it available for shipping, sometime in the month.
