Boston, MA 04/22/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Groupon Inc (NASDAQ:GRPN) has initiated a campaign in collaboration with the Brad Pitt founded organization Make It Right.

Groupon has announced contributing $100,000 to Make It Right, an organization that builds eco friendly homes for needy people. On April 16, 2014, Groupon introduced two new ways to allow people to get involved with the organization. The company is offering an Epic Deal and also initiating a campaign called Groupon Grassroots.

The Epic Deal

Groupon Inc (NASDAQ:GRPN) seeks to sell as many as 10 packages in the Epic Deal offering. The packages will include tickets for two to the Make It Right Gala this year. The Deal will offer the participants a VIP experience as Groupon provides them first class air- fare to New Orleans. The 2014 Make It Right Gala begins from May 17 and the package also includes tickets to the after party of the event.

Donations

The Groupon Grassroots campaign works with the objective of encouraging public support by aiding with donations of $10 to the organization. The donors stand a chance to win a tour to the Make It Right Gala. Both the endeavors by Groupon also provide participants a prospect to make a spree to the organization site in New Orleans. They additionally can win an opportunity to meet Hollywood actor Brad Pitt.

The 2014 Make It Right Gala will take place at New Orleans’ The Sugar Mill where performances from popular artists like Bruno Mars and Kings of Leon will be featured. Post the performances by these platinum selling music artists, there will be a cocktail hour, which is also a grand event as the three course dinner will be prepared by the best chefs of the city such as Donald Link and Susan Spicer. The Gala event will also feature music performances by local jazz musicians and include gift bags for attendees.
