Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is implementing its decision to rebrand its webmaster tools as the company seeks to be more sensitive to individuals concerned with its search tool.
The online giant company has been providing webmaster tools on a free basis to website owners for the past ten years or so. The tools allow these individuals to analyze critically their website’s presence in Google’s search engine as well as their site index.
One of the key interests of the new revamp is the search analysis report that was previously known as search queries report. It allows developers and site owners to view how information and website content is relayed appear on user search results. This is the main aim of the service.
The service has a huge potential for use especially by regular individuals but the name itself might make it look too complicated for most people to try it. Thus Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) has decided to remove the term “webmaster” and go for a more user-friendly name. The company’s aim is to widen the demand for the service now called Google Search Console beyond those who already have positions as Webmaster.
Googles plans to use the service to capture the attention of a wide audience, ranging from marketers, search engine optimization experts, designers and many more. The aim is to allow them to realize the impact they can achieve using the Google search console.
The new revamp is one of the little but influential tweaks that the company usually implements on its search engine to make it more user-friendly and more productive. Such small changes are part of the reason why the company is largely successful and preferred by many people.
According to the product’s marketing manager, Michael Fink, the service will be instrumental in fulfilling the desire of most of the people looking to use the service. The desire itself is for their work to be available online and most importantly, for it to be easily accessible and easy to find on Google’s search engine.
