Boston, MA 06/10/2014 (wallstreetpr) – An affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK.B), HomeServices of America announced on June 9, 2013 that the Founder, President and CEO of Intero Real Estate Services, Gino Blefari will take charge as the Vice President of HSF Affiliates with effect from January 1, 2015. HSF is the franchise network of the home realty business of Berkshire Hathaway.
Gino Blefari will become the Chief Executive Officer of HSF Affiliates. In the meanwhile, Earl Lee will remain the Chief Executive Officer of HSF Affiliates till January 1, 2015 and will thereafter take up the senior advisory role for domestic as well as international expansion strategies of HSF. People who will continue with their previous roles without any change include Stephen Phillips, Chief Operating Officer of HSF Affiliates as well as the President of Real Living Real Estate. The shuffling in the top management took place a month after Berkshire Hathaway reported that it has decided to buy the residential brokerage firm.

Gino Blefari, after being the CEO of HSF Affiliates will undertake the operations of franchise networks of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE:BRK.B)- Real Living Real Estate, Prudential Residential Real Estate and HomeServices. The networks of Berkshire Hathaway include around 500 franchisees as well as 45,000 agents in over 1600 offices across the country.
