Davidson, who previously worked as Executive Vice-President of corporate development and exploration of Barrick Gold Corporation (USA) (NYSE:ABX). Another person who has joined NuLegacy Gold Board is Mr. Richard Wells. He currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer of Waterton Global Resource Management, Inc. At the same time, NuLegacy has also expressed its gratitude towards Mr. Arv Gupta, who has decided to retire from his position, making room for new directors. Mr. Arv Gupta is the Vice President of The Barrick Gold Corporation (USA) (NYSE:ABX). He served the company to the best of his efforts over the past three years. His retirement prompted the company to appoint new members in the board.
Background of New Directors:
Richard Wells is one of the well-known thought provoking leaders of the industry. He has been working as the Chief Financial Officer of Waterton Global since 2010. Some of his responsibilities include taking care of various matters related to corporate finance, accounting, taxation, reporting, administrative matters and investor relations. Other than taking care of all these matters, he also serves as the Chief of Valuation Committee of his company. As a board member of Waterton, he provides financial oversight to all the group companies.
When it comes to Alex Davidson, he retired from Barrick Gold Corporation (USA) (NYSE:ABX) in 2009. He is known for implementing, designing and managing highly strategic and successful gold and base metal acquisition and exploration programs throughout the world. In 2003, he was awarded the title of Prospector of the year for discovering Lagunas Norte mine in the Alto Chicama District, Peru. He did it with the help of his team. Two years later in 2005, he also received A.O. Dufresne Award for his excellent contribution and excellent achievements in mining exploration in Canada and other parts of the world.
