Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F): Serving the Customers in Right Perspective

Boston, MA 07/21/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Lions, an American Football team of Detroit, and Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) have teamed up for a social cause of existing Meet Up and Eat Program. The program that is assisted by several participants like Gleaners Community Food Bank and Wayne State University School of Medicine will see significant contribution from the Detroit Lions team and the Ford. It is an excellent partnership to fight food insecurity and educate the local community about nutrition. Ford, through its Transit Connect Mobile Food Pantries, supplies 1.3 meals through organizations that feed the hungry in the Southeast Michigan. The Detroit Lions and the Ford have also raised $100K through events to support the eradication of hunger in the Detroit region.

Licensing a Restaurant

Ford’s Garage, a burger and craft beer restaurant, has been awarded the license by Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) to use it iconic blue oval logo, as well as its brand imagery and images of vehicles including historical photos related to Ford. The restaurant first located in Fort Myers, now looks to expand in Gulf Coast of Florida and Midwest. Ford would get a flat payment from the restaurant that would increase with growth of the restaurant across the U.S. It is crystal clear that Ford is looking to leverage its brand name wherever it sees a supportive and innovative environment.

The 2014 Investor Day

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is playing the host for Investor Day on September 29, 2014. The participants would include the interested investors and the media community in the Dearborn, Michigan area. Various activities are planned all through the day such as ride and drive, management presentations and question answer sessions.

Ford recalls 101,000 vehicles in six separate actions

The Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has recently issued a total of recall of 101K cars in six segments. These recalls add up to the total of 3 million recalls made by the company this year. The largest recall issued recently covers 92K vehicles that might have flaw in the right side half shaft.
