Don’t Miss This Opportunity In Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)

Boston, MA 01/08/2013 (wallstreetpr) – Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) may not regain its position as the dominant smartphone maker, however, it is soon going to become one of the most important tech companies. The company is undergoing many changes and cutting many business deals. Note that the company is no longer offering itself for sale. Instead, all efforts are being made to transform it into a profitable business.

All the positive things that are currently happening in Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) are credited to its interim CEO Mr. John Chen whose sole purpose is to see that the company make profits. In this process, some of the former executives have given way for fresh talents to help transform the company. Recently Blackberry signed a former executive at HTC America and Sony Ericsson to head its devices and solutions division. Chen had previously hired colleagues with whom he worked to transform Sybase to help him do the same at Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY).

Business deals

Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) has not just been hiring talents to help in its turnaround, the company is also cutting business deals. It recently entered into a five-year manufacturing agreement with Foxconn Technology. This deal will see the two companies collaborate in the design and making of low-cost smartphones for the emerging markets.

The good thing in this deal is that Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) will be spared the upfront cost in the devices manufacturing, moreover, it will not have to worry about inventory losses. If this deal works well, the two companies will expand it to include manufacture of high-end smartphones.

Besides collaborating with other companies, Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) is also collaborating with governments to offer mobile security solutions. Late last year, Pentagon announced a shift in its mobile communication platform from other providers to Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY). And at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) has announced plans to set up a security innovation center in Washington DC. These are part of the company’s government collaborations and are expected to penetrate into more countries, as mobile communication security gains center stage in many jurisdictions.

The opportunity

The stock of Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) is currently trading cheaply, but it is going to rise very fast, getting it at its current price around $8.50 is a big steal.
