Boston, MA 10/17/2013 (wallstreetpr) – It has always been a dream for Twitter to enter into the Television Industry and twitter has been trying hard in the past few years to make this dream a reality. Twitter has finally managed to turn its dream into a reality with its deal with Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA) taking off. Twitter Aims at converting the social networking site into a Television watching service. At the end of fall season this year, a button titled ‘See it’ would appear on the social networking site Twitter and users can use this button to watch some of the most watched shows of NBCUniversal which is now owned by Comcast.

Once the user clicks on those tweets with the See it Button a twitter card would be prompted on the screen loaded with all the information related to the shows. The users who are using Twitter and are paid subscribers to the television network of Comcast Corp. would be given the facilities using which they can either record or watch the show using their mobile phones or computer systems.

Twitter has always been claiming in the past that if given an opportunity it can give TV networks the viewers for their shows. Now the time has come when twitter can prove its claim to be a reality by helping its users connects to the TV shows being aired on the Comcast’s network. Comcast is one of the largest paid TV service providers in the United States and has a subscriber base of more than 24 million. Both Twitter and Comcast are explaining this deal to be a part of their strategic collaboration. Comcast hopes to involve other TV networks, Pay TV service providers and other web companies in this project in future.
