Boston, MA 10/07/2014 (wallstreetpr) – According to reports, CNH Industrial NV (NYSE:CNHI) is looking forward to expanding its services in Belgium very rapidly. CNHI is active in various fields, and the newest one is passenger transport. The company has managed to deliver close to 50 Iveco bus vehicles to De Lijn, which is one of the largest Flemish transport operators in Belgian. These numbers denote CNHI’s progress after it won a record tender in 2013.
Insights of the newest move of CNHI:
Currently, CNHI has close to 2300 buses running, which are used by approximately 500 million passengers across 225 million kilometers every year. As per the terms and conditions of the tender, CNH Industrial NV (NYSE:CNHI) has to maintain total supply of around 160 Crossway LE intercity buses throughout the interurban network of Flanders for circulation. As per the information, all those buses which are completed and ready to be used, have been sent to De Lijn depots in the Antwerp area. The production work is going on with a good rate, and the management of CNH Industrial NV (NYSE:CNHI) expects to deliver the rest of the buses by the end of 2014.
Lveco Bus production facility located at Vysoke Myto, Czech Republic has been finalized for the production of all the 160 buses. Main reason behind it is nothing but its location wise advantage and easy availability of resources. Once the production finishes, ready-to-use buses will be sent to two Iveco Bus dealers in Belgium, which are Belgian Bus Repair in Tildonk and Gregoor Trucks in Herentals. All the buses will go through an inspection process of De Lijn in order to eliminate any loophole before transporting for the final delivery.
Management of CNHI is delighted to see the selection of Iveco Buses by De Lijn. It will further help in creating many more opportunities for CNH Industrial NV (NYSE:CNHI) in other parts of the world as well.
