Boston, MA 09/22/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Since the time, Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) has been taken over by new CEOs, way of doing things has changed. It’s easy for one to refer Open World conference of ORCL in order to get a glimpse of how the company would be working in coming months under the guidance of Mark Hurd and Safra Catz.
Road So Far:
During the OpenWorld conference of Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) last year, Mark Hurd, Co-President that time appeared on stage on the very first day of the event and gave a two-hour speech to a few thousand people who were present at the event. He spoke about the latest technology used by ORCL and how customers could use it for their advantage. At the same time Safra Catz, Co-President chose a different platform and way to represent herself. She hosted an intimate invitation-only event for a few of very high potential and important clients of Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) and gave a keynote speak in that event. Both of them had been following the same pattern since last four years when Hurd joined Catz in the co-president suite. While Hurd looks forward to entertaining customers, handling their queries and managing different business units, Catz prefers to stay behind the screen and looks over all the legal, financial, manufacturing, operational and other internal matters.
Founder of Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) Larry Ellison has finally decided to step down as the CEO of the company after 37 years, which means that a new challenge is waiting for both Hurd and Catz. They will have to see as how they want to go forward from here. While answering to reporters, Hurd, 57 said that performing various tasks at ORCL had been a team sport. He referred his relationship with Catz as ‘collaborative.’ Catz was not available for immediate interview as ORCL declined requests of different reporters.
