BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)’s Smartphone Users Focus On Achievement And Balance

Boston, MA 10/03/2014 (wallstreetpr) – BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) conducted a global study in association with a research firm GfK. As per the study, 67% of respondents want to use their business Smartphones for enhancing the productivity. Here the word productivity has been broadly used as it covers all the tasks that need to be done to create a balance between a career, work and personal life. Also, the tasks should contribute in the welfare of community and society. To be precise, the study focus on two factors achievement and balance, and calls them as factors leading to success. The study stated that BlackBerry Smartphone users’ motivation came from achievement that is not found in people using its rivals Smartphones.

The concept

The research purely focuses on the new and bold perspectives related with productivity. The modern workers using Smartphones differentiates between “doing” and “achieving.” For them “doing” cannot be called as productivity, instead, “achieving” is called as productivity. The customers want those features and functions in their Smartphones that can make a difference. It should create a value in terms of delivery, control and results.

The modern productivity

The study further states that users cannot make a to-do list, and call is as productivity. It is important to prioritize the tasks of utmost importance. As per the research, 67% of business Smartphone users wants to improve the productivity levels while the 69% respondents wants to discover new ways to do things efficiently. 65% of respondents said that it was must to have a “substantial impact” from whatever they do as it can only lead to a sense of achievement.

The management view

John Chen, Executive Chairman and the CEO, said that significance of Smartphones cannot be ignored in the way people do business or communicate with family and friends. The Smartphones drive the ambitions of users to become more productive so that they can contribute more towards work, community and society.
