BB&T Corporation (NYSE:BBT) Upgrades Tyson Foods, Inc. (NYSE:TSN) And Primoris Services Corp (NASDAQ:PRIM) Shares

Boston, MA 08/11/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Investment and financial advisor BB&T Corporation (NYSE:BBT) has upgraded the shares of food production company Tyson Foods, Inc. (NYSE:TSN) and specialty contractor Primoris Services Corp (NASDAQ:PRIM) shares. The brokerage action came in the wake of Tyson Foods reporting its results ten days ago and Primoris disclosing its financial results on August 7.

Rating of Shares

BB&T Corporation (NYSE:BBT) had lifted its rating on Tyson Food shares to Buy on Friday from Hold based on valuation. However, the brokerage had left the price objective unchanged at $45. Based on the Friday’s regular trading session closing price of $36.87, the stock still has upside potential of about 22%.

Similarly, the financial advisor had lifted its rating on Primoris Services shares to Buy from hold on Friday. Another brokerage, DA Davidson also boosted its rating to Buy from Neutral on the shares of Primoris. It had also increased its price objective by $1 to $32 from $31. This suggests that there is a possible upside reward of 11.7% based on Friday’s closing price of $27.76 during the normal trading session.

Consensus Rating

For Tyson Foods, Inc. (NYSE:TSN) shares, seven analysts have assigned a rating of Hold while six preferred a Buy rating, and one analyst advises Sell rating. Therefore, the consensus is in favor of a Hold rating with the average price objective of $42.80.

On the other hand, Primoris Services Corp (NASDAQ:PRIM) shares get a consensus rating of Buy with four analysts preferring a Buy rating and only one analyst favoring Hold rating. The average price target for Primoris shares were $35.00, which means that there would be at least 25% upside potential.

Tyson Foods, Inc. (NYSE:TSN) share has 50-day and 200-day moving average prices of $38.19 and $39.13 respectively with the stock hitting a high and a low of $44.24 and $27.33 respectively during the 52-week period.

Similarly, Primoris share’s moving average prices for 50-day and 200-day were $26.53 and $29.53 respectively. The stock had also hit a high of $33.42 and a low of $21.80 during the one-year period.
