AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) U-Verse® TV To Feature EPIX Movies And Shows After Their New Partnership Deal

Boston, MA 07/16/2014 (wallstreetpr) – AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) advanced TV service with the AT&T U-verse® brand has signed a distribution deal with EPIX Premium TV, the premium movie and programming entertainment service provider. According to the agreement, AT&T will distribute huge numbers of movies, concerts, original documentaries and comedy specials to its AT&T U-verse customers.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) has already commenced the distribution of EPIX as a premium offer across the company’s U-verse TV platform from Monday. It carries four new channels called the EPIX, EPIX 2, EPIX 3 and EPIC Drive-In. At the launch ceremony, AT&T U-verse is offering its customers a free preview of the network in the last weekend of the month. The package is priced at $8 per month.

EPIX’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Mark Greenberg, appreciated the partnership with AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) as the leading telecom company holds the status of an innovator and enjoys the highest regards in customer experience. He said that the opportunity will provide EPIX new customers across the nation and will provide it a chance to show Hollywood’s most popular blockbuster movies, concerts, documentaries and comedy specials to a new set of audience.

EPIX is a leader in multiplatform availability of the most exhaustive list of movies, and the partnership will allow AT&T U-verse TV users access to the thousands of blockbuster hits. Some of these movies include The Wolf of Wall Street, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, etc. Some of the documentaries that will be featured are Forgotten Four: The Integration of Pro-Football, Schooled: The Price of College Sports and apart from this, Madonna and P!NK featured concert shows and Jenny McCarthy, Louis C.K and Patton Oswalt hosted comedy specials will also be distributed to the customers.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) had also introduced more mobile apps and contents as its partners Syntonic Wireless launched the Sponsored Content Store last week.
