It revealed that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration had cleared product line extensions for the Calix-C family of cervical interbody cages.
This development will lead to the addition of two larger footprints for use with allograft. The clearance will play a major role towards strengthening the company’s focus in regenerative technologies. It will thus help offer more comprehensive and integrated cervical treatment option for medical practitioners and their patients.

He added that they had been using the product as a combined spinal fusion solution and they were optimistic that it would spark positive outcomes among patients. The Calix‐C™ Cervical Interbody Spacer will specifically be used with supplemental spinal fixation systems such as Certex Spinal Fixation Systems and the Spider Cervical Plating.
The giant company has given an estimate of the Spider Cervical Plating. It has outlined that it currently stands at $1.3B and growing. The global market for Demineralized Bone Matrix at the moment stands at $485M. Xtant Medical has kick-started collaborative marketing efforts and later this year it will be making preparations for the unveiling of the new Calix-C sizes.
