Wi-Fi/LTE Spectrum Issues Driving Growth At TriQuint Semiconductor (NASDAQ:TQNT)

Boston, MA 05/23/2014 (wallstreetpr) – The troubles that carriers and network providers face in relation to Wi-Fi and LTE interference issues can better be solved using the innovative RF solutions provide by TriQuint Semiconductor (NASDAQ:TQNT), according to the company officials. So, that means good business opportunity for the RF chip company.

The increased adoption of high-performance wireless devices and the desire by carriers to improve their capacity are poised to increase sales of RF products. However, market experts project higher sales of RF chipsets that deliver beyond the ordinary because in addition to enhancing the capacity, operators also look to reduce their impact on the environment while keeping operating costs low. As such, providers of chipsets need to deliver high-performance but low-power consuming chips.

Handling Tough Network Jobs

James Klein, VP Infrastructure and Defense Products at TQNT, said the complexity in deal with the interference in Wi-Fi and LTE and high demand for bandwidth provides an opportunity for TriQuint Semiconductor (NASDAQ:TQNT) to make more sales. He said that is because, the company’s products are best suited for handling the toughest of system challenges.

Perhaps that explains why the company recently announced its selection by a chipset provider to deliver the best-in-class front-end modules.
