Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC): It’s All About Exploring New Horizons

Boston, MA 04/02/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC) is all set to enter into new deals, appoint new officers and enter into new agreements. Quite evidently the Company is wiling to do whatever it takes to keep the business running and the profits flourishing.

Appointing the New C.F.O

The Wells Fargo & Co(NYSE:WFC) reportedly appointed a new Chief Financial Officer and a new head for the wholesale banking department as well. Well if not new appointments, these could be called reshuffling the executives because the previous Chief Financial Officer, namely Timothy J. Sloan is leaving the office in order to join the wholesale banking group. While John R. Shrewsberry who belonged to the banking department as the head of the Wells Fargo Securities is appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Such a turn of events took place after David A. Hoyt who was the head of the wholesale banking decided to retire at the age of 58 after working for 32 years with the Company.

The Credit Card Deal

Wells Fargo is reportedly entering into a new credit card agreement with Dillard’s, Inc. (NYSE:DDS). The Company has decided to issue, fund and service private label credit cards branded by Dillard. Wells Fargo is also supposed to manage the cardholder loyalty program for Dillard. The Agreement has an initial term of 10 years and is expected to come into effect by the end of this year, probably in the fourth quarter of 2014. The Agreement’s financial terms remain undisclosed till now.

Tom Wolfe, Wells Fargo head of Consumer Credit Solutions expressed his delight over this new agreement will Dillard and is looking forward to exploring new horizons of the relationship that Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC) and Dillard’s, Inc. (NYSE:DDS)’s share as two companies which have been striving to provide significant benefits to its customers. A similar reaction was recorded from Alex Dillard, the president of Dillard.
