Boston, MA 09/25/2014 (wallstreetpr) – The insurance unit of Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC) will have Alejandra (Alex) Evans as its new Senior Vice President. She will be looking at the International business and Risk Management sections of the insurance unit with her long career span in the same segment.
The New VP Responsibilities
Ms. Evans will take care of the collaborations with regional as well as national sales leaderships. Also, she will look after the same for different partners. Both, leadership and partners will be within the Corporate Banking unit of Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC) and will together, lead to the development of national strategy so as to increase the risk management business in insurance group.
Her role will also stretch to include insurance sales strategy at the international level and co-ordination with the national sales team & international group for business development. Evans will be based in Miami and will report to the Head of business development and Insurance Brokerage Consulting of the company, Kevin Kenny.
Who is Alejandra (Alex) Evans?
Ms. Evans comes to Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC) with her 25 years of insurance industry experience. She came from Aon Plc (NYSE:AON), where she served as the MD of Global Client Segment in company’s Construction Services Group. With the specialization in solution design and risk management, Evans has worked with a range of insurance brokers at the national level.
Kenny said that Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC)’s insurance unit will grow and strengthen in terms of international business, as it walks towards innovation. Kenny added that her industry experience, as well as, the proven track record will help in leveraging the opportunities of the bank to be associated with other banks. This will help it in forming collaborations.
Evans extensive career spans over various companies, including Willis Lease Finance Corporation (NASDAQ:WLFC), Wachovia Insurance Services as well as Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE:MMC).
