Under Armour Inc (NYSE:UA) is a sportswear maker and is now planning to expand their business and open up a new outlet in the New York City. Now the athletes of New York can also purchase the wicking pull over hoodies and compression shirts from the new outlet being opened by the Under Armour Inc.

About the new outlet being launched in New York

Under Armour Inc is a Baltimore located company which is engaged in producing of attractive sportswear. Having high sales, this company is now planning to open up their first outlet in the city of New York according to the real estate insiders. The company has signed for a new location in New York which is spread over an area of 20,300 square feet and is situated at 583 Broadway, on the eastern edge of So Ho, and lies between Prince and Houston Street. The property which is being signed by Under Armour Inc for their new outlet in New York belongs to Manhattan based Texwood Investment Inc.

About the property being taken by Under Armour Inc

The space where Under Armour Inc is planning to open up their new outlet formerly had Esprit store and more recently, the temporarily shifted surf wear retailer Pac Sun. The new Under Armour Inc store in New York includes 7,800 square feet on the ground floor and around 6,400 square feet on the second floor. This data has been made available by Co Star Group Inc. The space also acquires a basement which is about 7,000 square feet.

Declination of the comment

The brokers Taryn Talmadge and Joshua Strauss of RKF who represented Texwood Investment Inc in front of Under Armour Inc related to the property declined to comment. And also Jason Pruger who represents Under Armour Inc also declined to comment on the new outlet of New York.
