The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG): Announces Global Shine Strong Fund

Boston, MA 06/19/2014 (wallstreetpr) – The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG) hair product Pantene is coming up with a new campaign along with the launch of the Global Shine Strong fund.  It will be supported by a video that is interestingly termed as “Not Sorry” Video. It is a thought provoking video that tells women to analyze their over-apologizing behavior. The video asks the women to re-think how often they say “Sorry.”  The fund is organized to help out the women and celebrate their individuality. It promotes the idea of tackling the biases towards them.

Shine Strong Campaign

The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG) product Pantene’s Shine Strong campaign is about the women celebration. It started last year in the month of December.  It was inspired from the video named as “Labels,” coming from the Philippines that highlighted the gender labels in the workplace. Following the success of a viral video, Pantene has started with a new video titled “Not Sorry.”

“Not Sorry” Video

The title in itself speaks the message given in the video. It is about the women who demean their own self and strength by repeatedly saying Sorry for the very unnecessary things. Women need to understand that over using the word sorry is not right. It is a subtle word to be used only in the cases where there is a real wrong done.  The video wants to help the women to become strong both inside and out. It can be the start of a much needed change. It will certainly create awareness among women.

The step to help women

The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG) product Pantene’s Shine Strong campaign will use the funds for the betterment of the women. The funds will be used to educate the women. It will encourage them to make self capable and understand their role in male dominated society. They will be in a better position of understanding the bias. The fund will provide monetary grants in the various spheres including the college campuses, workplace and in the community.
