The Malaysia’s biggest solar power plant is powered by more than 10 MWs of Yingli solar molecules. The solar project was developed by the subsidiary of the Malaysia based investment holding company Amcorp Group Berhad, Amcorp Power Sdn.Bhd..
The sturdy partnership between the companies became stronger when in March 2013 Yingli Singapore signed a contract with the Amcorp Power. The agreement was signed in order to supply Yingli Solar modules for 10.3 MW PV power plants, which is located in Gemas, Negri Sembilan, Malaysia. This very project was commissioned in the starting of the month of June and expanded area of almost 34 acres. It makes use of more than 40,000 YGE Series multi-crystalline modules, which expected to produce 13.6 million kWh of clean and green electricity every year.

The Director of Amcorp Group, Encik Shahman Azman stated that the company is happy to select Yingli Green Energy as the module supplier for the largest solar power plant of Malaysia.
