The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) To Raise Production For Meeting The High Demand

Boston, MA 10/03/2014 (wallstreetpr) – The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) is witnessing strong demand of airplanes from customers worldwide and therefore it intends to raise the production on the 737 program. It has plans to make 52 airplanes per month in year 2018 compared to the production of 42 airplanes per month in this year. It will first achieve the objective of 52 airplanes per month and then will manufacture more than 620 airplanes per year. It is a key production number for the single-aisle airplanes.

Boeing expects the demand for commercial airplane to cross 25,000 single-aisle airplanes in the next 20 years. It projects a market value of approximately $2.56 trillion. The air traffic volume is expected to match the demand of rise in commercial airplanes. Single-aisles market is expanding and is the fastest growing segment in the aerospace industry. As of now, Boeing has orders of over 12,100 single-aisle airplane from 266 customers worldwide.
