Tech Update: Western Digital Corp (NASDAQ:WDC), VeriFone Systems, Inc. (NYSE:PAY), Radisys® Corporation (NASDAQ:RSYS)

Boston, MA 10/10/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Western Digital Corp (NASDAQ:WDC) announced on 9th October that it has entered into a new strategic alliance with “Gobbler” which has built out a new “cloud collaboration platform”. The tie up has been inked between HGST, a division of Western Digital which owns the G-Technology and Gobbler. The syndication is expected to offer more robust development platform for “creative professionals”. This is being offered by tying in the local storage offerings of Western Digital Corp (NASDAQ:WDC) with the collaboration platform put together by Gobbler. Gobbler has received funding from venture capital firms “ff Venture Capital, Anthem Ventures and DFJ Frontier.”

VeriFone Systems, Inc. (NYSE:PAY) announced on 9th October that its customer Phoenix Managed Networks has completed the implementation and deployment of its flag ship and cutting edge technology solution called “IntelliNAC i6 network access controller”. This solution platform has been successfully integrated with Phoenix Managed Networks proprietary transactions network which is PCI compliant. The press note indicated that IntelliNAC i6 platform has been pre certified to work seamlessly with specific payment processors which are tied in with the Phoenix Managed Networks. The technology solution provider has disclosed that post the implementation of its solution, its customer has successfully managed to process nearly one hundred million transactions in just one month.

Wireless infrastructure solutions provider Radisys® Corporation (NASDAQ:RSYS) announced that one of its key customer Zoom Video Communications has successfully deployed its flagship product called MPX-12000 Broadband Media Resource Function. Zoom Video Communications offers cloud based online meeting platform to enterprises and individuals. The Media Resource component is designed to provide“scalable HD media processing” ability to the conferencing services provider. The press note goes on to assert that the Radisys® Corporation (NASDAQ:RSYS) solution has helped Zoom Video Communications increase its audio conference quality, while cutting down costs and maintaining reliability.
