Tarena International Inc (ADR) (NASDAQ:TEDU) Strikes Cooperation Deals With 6 Varsities & Colleges

Boston, MA 06/16/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Professional education services provider in China Tarena International Inc (ADR) (NASDAQ:TEDU) disclosed that it had struck a cooperation deal with six varsities and colleges in China to provide joint programs in the field of computer science and software engineering. Following this, shares of the company advanced to post a significant gain on June 13.

Agreements With Varsities

The deal to offer major programs included with the varsities Yangzhou University, Huaihai Institute of Technology, Jiangsu Normal University, Huaiyin Institute of Technology, XuhaiCollege, the Taihu University of Wuxi, and China University of Mining and Technology. The deal paves the way for the students to enroll themselves in the joint major programs offered by Tarena from these six colleges and universities besides selected courses in their regular undergraduate curriculum.

In exchange, Tarena International Inc (ADR) (NASDAQ:TEDU) will get a part of the students’ tuition that is due to Tarena courses. The company and the six schools would also jointly develop an internship and training center to boost their students’ competitiveness in the job market besides improving the placement results of post-graduation.
