Boston, MA 10/14/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Business enablement solutions provider Comverse Inc (NASDAQ:CNSI) announced that its flag ship Comverse Kenan FX postpaid platform has been implemented by an unnamed South East Asia telecommunication giant. The post paid platform has been integrated with Comverse (NASDAQ:CNSI) supplied “Comverse ONE real-time converged charging” platform. The combination solution is offering new revenue generation opportunities for the services provider in the form of boosted “data monetization and earnings from supporting advanced services.” The company in its press release has indicated that the solution platform has allowed the service provider to offer “superior customer experience” to its customers.
Apricus Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ:APRI) disclosed on 13th October that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued the company a notice which provides allowance of its U.S. Patent Application Serial Number 14/110,348. The application has been submitted with regards to developing a cure to treat Raynaud’s phenomenon. In the application, the drug maker had disclosed that “Raynaud’s phenomenon secondary to systemic sclerosis” had been observed to affect nearly 3 to 5 percent of the adult population in U.S. with a huge skew leaning towards impacted women. It has tried to make a case in the application that the disease has no known drug treatment in U.S and hence meets the definition of “Unmet medical need.”
