Stocks On Radar: Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE:HON), Opower Inc (NYSE:OPWR), Perry Ellis International, Inc. (NASDAQ:PERY)

Boston, MA 10/15/2014 (wallstreetpr) –  Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE:HON) announced on 14th October that its fully owned business unit UOP LLC has been awarded a engineering contract by PennTex Midstream Partners, LLC. The contract involves procuring and constructing a “Gas Processing Plant” by UOP LLC to PennTex North Louisiana, LLC, which is a fully owned subsidiary of PennTex Midstream. The plant will be based in Northern Louisiana and will be processing natural gas liquids to the tune of 200 MMSCFD. The plant construction is expected to start immediately and is slated to get into production mode by end of 2015. The contract announced today is the second such project being awarded by PennTex North Louisiana to UOP.

Cloud-based software solutions and services provider Opower Inc (NYSE:OPWR) announced on 14th October that it has launched a newly upgraded technology platform called Opower 5.5: Flex. The platform boasts of new features that have augmented and enhanced the most sought after features which existed in the previous versions of the software. The firm has underscored that Opower 5.5: Flex will help its users connect with close to 95 utility service providers worldwide. These firms have already started to register the cost benefits of using Opower 5.5 Company noted.

Perry Ellis International, Inc. (NASDAQ:PERY) announced on 14th October that it has signed a new licensing agreement with Kiona S.A. de C.V. The renewed relationship will allow Kiona to sell a while host of merchandise produced by Perry Ellis International, Inc. (NASDAQ:PERY) under its Original Penguin® branding in Mexico. The produces covered under the licensing agreement are “men’s and women’s bags, messenger bags, IT carriers, camping bags, small leather goods, sports bags, travel bags, utility bags, backpacks, key chains and cosmetic bags.” The lifestyle firm indicated that the deepening of its relationship with Kiona is an indication of the huge potential that exists for the two firms in Mexico over the next few years.
