This move is being termed as a god send to those customers who are looking at convenient and easily accessible banking facilities at retail outlets. The new tie up will allow Cardtronics, Inc. (NASDAQ:CATM) to add nearly 165 new anytime money vending machines to its existing portfolio of brand-able ATMs. The tie up between the ATM owner/operator with the fresh food retailer is aimed at offering more conveniences to walk in customers and thus build their loyalty with their stores.

United Parcel Service, Inc. (NYSE:UPS) announced on 8th October that it will be expanding its “UPS My Choice and the UPS Access Point networks” to multiple geographies outside U.S. The service platforms currently are interoperable and allow its users a “transparent platform” for both online shoppers and suppliers to manage home delivery of their posts and parcels. The extended platform is expected to bring in more personalized solutions, which would meet the needs of busy 21 century citizens globally. Post the announcement the combined new service would be rolled into 15 new markets, primarily located in Europe and U.S.

Ocular Therapeutix Inc (NASDAQ:OCUL) announced on 8th October that it has completed the enrolment of patients who will participate in its previously announced Phase 3 clinical trials. The trails will be testing out the treatment methodology of “Sustained Release Dexamethasone” for the treatment of eye inflammation and pain in post eye operation scenario. The treatment procedure being tested involves introducing the canaliculus implant into the eye. It would then start to push the dexamethasone drug into the ocular surface at even intervals for close to four weeks. In total, the drug maker has enrolled nearly 486 patients to this program and is spread across 32 locations in U.S.
