Telecommunications giant AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced on 7th October that it has appointed Antonio Amendola aged 44 years as its next executive director of international and external affairs. The role will be based out of Brussels. The new appointee is expected to represent and defend the company interests in front of European government regulators and European Union lobbying groups. He has also been tasked with making his presence felt in various national and international industry events. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Amendola was working with the Italian Government, the press release noted. He was offering advisory services to the Italian Secretary of State of Economic Development.
