Stock Update: Epizyme, Inc. (NASDAQ:EPZM); HomeAway, Inc. (NASDAQ:AWAY); Zillow Inc (NASDAQ:Z)

Boston, MA 10/13/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Clinical stage biopharma firm Epizyme, Inc. (NASDAQ:EPZM) disclosed on 10th October that it will share clinical test data collected from tests conducted on its test drug “class histone methyltransferase” at the 56th annual convention of the American Society of Hematology. The conference is scheduled to be held during 6th to 9th December in San Francisco, California. It also announced that it would be presenting data from the investigations it has conducted on its other key drug candidate EPZ-6438 at the EORTC-NCI-AACR Symposium which is scheduled to be held in November this year.

HomeAway, Inc. (NASDAQ:AWAY) and online vacation rental agency platform operator VacayStay Connect announced that they have extended their partnership which has been in vogue since 2011. The expanded relationship would allow the two firms to offer tens of thousands of newly introduced joint ownership resorts for rent to users on the internet. This would be made possible by promoting their joint listings on their HomeAway® family of websites like “HomeAway.com® and VRBO.com®”. The two firms have been engaged in the business model of connecting “property management companies” and “vacation home owners” with their online customer base. The increased scope of the tie up is likely to allow more number of travellers to connect with vacation house owners through the internet medium.

Online real estate platform provider Zillow Inc (NASDAQ:Z) announced on 10th October that it has appointed Mr. Brian de Schepper as Director of MLS. He has also been given added responsibility of industry development. Prior to his appointment at Zillow, he was leading the sales efforts of CoreLogic. Mr. Schepper sounded excited to be joining Zillow Inc (NASDAQ:Z) at this stage, where it is pushing hard to increase its presence and working relationship with a host of MLS’s across the country. He has expressed confidence in being able to strengthen and amplify “compelling vision” of the company.
