Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S) Gears Up To Acquire Larger Customer Base, Riding On The iPhone Bandwagon

Boston, MA 09/15/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S) succeeded in cutting across its investors with the word, that’s in the air, about it emerging with the best iPhone 6/6S deal ahead of the iPhone’s launch sometime this week. With T-Mobile US Inc (NYSE:TMUS) being the toughest competitor in this business, as both the wireless carrier company have plans to make big bucks, riding the iPhone 6 – wave!

The Premise

The focus behind having an eye for iPhone is to draw in a huge customer base, plucking a faction of AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) and Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) consumers. It is true that customers are lured by products more than carriers, when the top four wireless carriers in the US are more or less of the similar competencies and trustworthiness.

T-Mobile’s iPhone Plans

T-Mobile US Inc (NYSE:TMUS) has already jumped to the fore, a week back, by launching two luring ‘un-carrier’ programs to trap buyers. A monthly fee estimating at $27.08/month and $31.24/month for the 16 GB model and the iPhone 6 phablet respectively. They also unveiled a 4G LTE plan facilitating unlimited phone calls, data and text bandwidth usages, dubbed ‘Simple Choice’!

Sprint’s Take

With Marcelo Claure, the new CEO at Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S), at the helm of things, the company is bracing up to compete with TMUS, by pushing in a cheap and cost effective option to lure consumers in larger numbers. The objective is to seek prominence, beating TMUS’ upgrade offer to iPhone 6.

Lifetime Schemes

Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S) has come up with a plan to rent out iPhones, coupled by guaranteed upgrades to new iPhone models once in every 2 years’ time! This ‘for a lifetime’ scheme is cheap enough – at a meager $20/month for renting out the iPhone. In order to avail an unlimited lifetime service plan, all and sundry can pay merely $50 per month.

Alternative Scheme

A spokesperson from Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S) revealed that no additional or initial payment is accrued in either of the plans, either directly or through taxes, since the customers are primarily renting the iPhone 6. However, if in case a customer shies away from renting an iPhone, Sprint has an option to avail – customers may avail the product at EMIs worth $27.09.
