Boston, MA 10/10/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S) was not sparring any efforts to take on the rivals AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) and Verizon Communications Inc (NYSE:VZ). The aggressive promotional offers by the rivals forced the company to take steps to stay ahead of the competition in providing data services to its business customers. The latest efforts would allow them to double data in comparison with its rivals, AT&T and Verizon.
Double Data
The company said that its Sprint Business Share Plan would double the data from October 10, its statement issued to the media indicated. As a result, business customers with 50 – 100 lines would be able to get 240 GB to 800 GB data.
Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S) indicated that its current promotional offer would run till the October end. It offers data at a cost $50 – $150 cheaper a month than a related promotion plan of AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T). On top of this, it would also waive $15 as the access charges for unlimited text and talk till the end of the next year. For this, customers would have to bring their number and activate a phone. The company disclosed that the latest pricing promotion was available only for installment billing.
The company stated that the time-bound promotion was built on the recent unveiling of its Sprint Business Share plans. It said that the new affordable pricing options challenge the increased cost of doing business with telecom service providers through big amounts of data and savings in comparison with the plans offered by its rivals.
4G LTE Network
The telecom service provider said that its 4G LTE network, which was already built, would serve over 255 million people. The company expects to add more with the customers taking advantage of the Smartphone’ great features.
Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S) said that it was also deploying a new technology, Sprint Spark, designed to improve the video performance and other bandwidth-intensive applications. This included online gaming of new generations, virtual reality besides advanced cloud services.
The company stated that its Spark was an improved LTE service built for data and designed to offer average wireless speeds of 6-15Mbps. It intends to reach 100 million by the end of the current year with the service.
