Sky-mobi Ltd (ADR) (NASDAQ:MOBI) Signs A Partnership With China Unicom

Boston, MA 03/18/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Sky-mobi Ltd (ADR) (NASDAQ:MOBI) a leading mobile application in china has signed a strategic partnership agreement with WO Store of China Unicom, through its subsidiary Mopin Technology. The agreement will see Sky-mobi designated as the official partner to provide customized and tailor made software services at Unicom’s stores nationwide.

The partnership will also enable Unicom accord its customers the ability to purchase smartphones over the counter through the offering of quality customized software services from sales staff by Sky-mobi. The agreement will allow Sky-mobi to cover physical stores in the lucrative smartphone markets of Zhejiang, Guangxi and Shadong provinces

Sky-mobi Ltd (ADR) (NASDAQ:MOBI) has been working on the project since 2010, according to its chief executive officer Tao Song after learning that customers visiting physical stores wanted more than assistance when choosing and purchasing smartphones. The announcement of the partnership caused Sky-mobi to jump in the market in active trading by highs of 16.3% to a high of $11.51.

Sky-mobi Ltd (ADR) (NASDAQ:MOBI) is currently rated as a hold in the market with the company’s stock showing significant strengths in solid stock price that has been growing over the past year as well as a compelling growth in net income and a solid financial position. Sky-mobi weaknesses on the other hand can be seen in poor profit margins.

Sky-mobi share price has jumped by over 398.48% over the past year alone beating the growth metric of the S&P 500 index as well as the industry average. Net income for the recent quarter has also grown, compared to that of the same quarter a year ago having increased by 38.1% rising from $0.58 to $0.85

Revenue returns on the other hand has declined when compared to that of the industry average 10.3% as well as the S&P 500 index. Its return on equity is also impressive exceeding that of the same quarter a year ago.
