Flipkart, the major competitor of Amazon.Com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) will buy Myntra in order to boost up the competition level. People having knowledge in this matter said on Flipkart’s takeover of Myntra. However, the inside story is quite interesting. The deal of Flipkart acquiring Myntra, one of the biggest apparel stores, was almost of $330 million and will take place very soon. The shareholders of Myntra will also be benefitted with cash-payouts as well as stake in Flipkart.

Challenge for Amazon in near future:

The ex-employee of Amazon.Com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal founded Flipkart in 2007. The country’s largest online retailer after owning Myntra aims to move sevenfold to $22 billion by the end of 2018. It will create a huge challenge for Amazon, which is also in a row to take the prime spot in online retail business. Amazon in 2009 had a deal of $1.2 billion to acquire online shoe retailer Zappos. However, it will be a challenge for the budding online store to give a tight fight with such giant in the online retailer business, Amazon.
