Shares of LPTN rose 0.62 percent to $4.85 in the last trading. The $63.93 million market capped company was able to exchange a fairly high volume and the shares changed hands between $4.82 and $5. Over the last 12 months the shares have traded in the low and high regions of $3.87 and $5.70 respectively.

Children’s Place Retail Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ:PLCE) had its shares rising 1.8 percent to $51.57 in the last session. Fairly large volume of the stock was traded and the price ranged between $50.46 and $52.30. The rise of the stock was happened despite the downgraded from EVA Dimensions. The analysts lowered their observation on the stock to “underperform” from a “hold” rating. PLCE recently announced quarterly earnings results that topped Street view. Earnings per share for the fourth quarter of 2013 were 96 cents, above 95 cents that analysts predicted, but lower than $1.15 in the corresponding quarter a year ago. While EPS was well above view, revenue was a disappointment, coming in at $467.5 million, below $484.82 million. Year-over-year revenue was down 8.2 percent. Children’s Place Retail Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ:PLCE) is expected to earn $3.62 per share in the current year. Meanwhile, the company has announced $0.1325 dividend per share payable April 17, for investors of record as of March 27. The announced dividend reflects $0.53 on annualized basis.
