salesforce.com, inc. (NYSE:CRM): Launching A New In-App Support Service

Boston, MA 05/05/2014 (wallstreetpr) – Recently, salesforce.com, inc. (NYSE:CRM), has launched a new app support for mobile customers, which is being called the Service SOS. The Chief Executive Officer of salesforce would be participating in the Milken Institute Global Conference.

This new Salesforce1 Service Cloud SOS is the future of mobile app support. It would prove to be a revolutionary in-app support, which would enable on-screen guided assistance and live video support. With the help of this new in-app support, companies would be able to deliver personalized services to the customers instantly within any mobile app. This Service SOS would put an SOS button inside any app directly. The leading brands such as Philips, Inspirato with American Express, Cars.com and Stanley Black & Decker have been using the Service Cloud to deliver customer service all around.

The Service Cloud SOS has become the world’s number one platform for customer service. salesforce.com, inc. (NYSE:CRM) reports that it has estimated a growth in annual downloads through mobile app by 2017. The downloads are expected to reach a huge number equal to 268 billion. The total amount of revenue that is expected to be generated through these downloads is around $77 billion, salesforce.com reports. It has also been reported by salesforce.com that customers today are downloading more than two billion app per month; that is, it can be inferred that the market of downloadable mobile apps is growing at a rapid pace.

Service SOS strives to provide support to the customers instantly; that is, help is just one-touch away, reports salesforce.com. Through this in-support app, companies would be able to provide instant access of support to its customers.

The global conference

The Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, namely, Marc Benioff, of salesforce would be giving a speech at the Milken Institute Global Conference, which would be held in Los Angeles, California.
