Boston, MA 08/14/2014 (wallstreetpr) – A global integrated communications provider, RR Donnelley & Sons Co (NASDAQ:RRD) disclosed on Thursday morning that it had been awarded a five-year contract by the United Kingdom-based Allianz Insurance. However, the value of the contract was not disclosed by both the companies. The winning of contract announcement comes on the heels of the company’s recognition as the Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards 2014.
Multi-Service Contract
As part of the multi-service contract, RR Donnelley & Sons Co (NASDAQ:RRD) would offer onsite creative design services, including print, as well as, transactional print management services. The first stage of services, i.e. print and creative management, would be handled by its Tewksbury and Huntingdon locations in Britain.
The company disclosed that its design solutions apart from advanced digital printing technologies offer its customers the much needed flexibility to communicate with their targeted audiences through various channels allowing them to connect with their audiences. The winning of contract would allow both the companies to improve upon the design, delivery and communication management systems through transparent cost effective method.

Allianz insurance’s operations director Stephanie Smith said that it had selected RR Donnelley & Sons Co (NASDAQ:RRD) as its preferred supplier since its customers wanted real time digital access on policy information. The company had also required to keep pace with its customers requirements amidst changes in the technology. He had also praised RR Donnelley for its innovation and expertise in various fields such as print management, creative design and fulfillment. Allianz would take advantage of their expertise and deliver its promise to its customers.
Best Employer Award
Separately, RR Donnelley & Sons Co (NASDAQ:RRD) disclosed a few days back that its Global Outsourcing Services was given the recognition of Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards for 2014 by the World Human Resources Development Congress, Employer Branding Institute, and Stars of the Industry Group besides CHRO support.
The award was presented based on four categories, continuous HR strategy innovation, HR leadership, diversity impact and best differently-abled recruitment program.
