Therefore, it considered him as a perfect fit for the company, its statement indicated. His experience was wider with one and half decades in the wireless industry apart from having had exposure in mergers and acquisitions, manufacturing, and accounting.
RF Industries CEO, Howard Hill, said that Johnny’s wider experience would support RF Industries, Ltd. (NASDAQ:RFIL)’s strategy for growing itself in the coming years. Walker was a CPA (inactive) and studied at Texas Tech for Accounting and Finance, got his BBA at Texas A&M Commerce and finished his MBS at Texas Tech.

RF Industries, Ltd. (NASDAQ:RFIL) disclosed Walker was till recently with Hutton Communications as its CEO and CFO between 1999 and 2014. During his tenure, he and his team performed creditably to post an overall profitability. He was also responsible for multiple acquisitions besides being a key personality in the establishment of a private label series of wireless accessories.
Before joining Hutton, he was with River Oaks as its CFO and COO between 1993 and 1998. He was heading an acquisition team and was instrumental in streamlining the manufacturing operations. In Profit Partners International, he was the CEO and was appointed by the court as a receiver to rehabilitate and liquidate the troubled savings and loans between 1990 and 1993. Similarly in Tony Lama, he was the CFO and COO and involved in the restructuring of the company through mergers and acquisitions. He joined RF Industries, Ltd. (NASDAQ:RFIL) in 1984.
In Haskins & Sells (Deloitte & Touche), he was a partner involving himself in extensive mergers and acquisitions. Later, he was named as Partner-in-charge of RF Industries, Ltd. (NASDAQ:RFIL).
